What we can offer to you
Over the Rainbow Kindergarten offers to children of Kampot, Cambodia the chance to be immersed and engaged in the learning of English. Whether you are native speaker of English or wishing to learn English as a second language, then we can provide the education to your children through a variety of educational methods, including the following weekly activities:
1. Group playtime using educational toys, encouraging social and emotional development. 2. English songs and rhymes. 3. Circle time following weekly themes, for example body parts, weather, emotions. 4. Numeracy including number and counting to 30, shapes and patterns. 5. Literacy involving the alphabet, phonics and vocabulary. 6. Writing skills to learn letter and number formation and spelling simple words. 7. Montessori activities to improve gross and fine motor skills, critical thinking and problem solving. 8. Arts and crafts to encourage imagination and creativity. 9. Exercise including yoga, dancing and fun games. 10. Gardening to grow our own vegetables, learn about plant and animal life cycles and to promote health and nutrition for life. 11. Story time to develop recognition of sounds, words and language.
