His first English reading lesson started with just six sounds.

Today was his first day learning these sounds, and he did a good job. 👏
But there was something important behind that progress.
Before our live class, he had already practiced with the video lessons.
So when we met, we could spend more time listening, saying, connecting, and blending the sounds.
For example:
s + a + t → sat
s + i + t → sit
p + i + n → pin
This is what I want learners to experience.
Not:
“Memorize this word.”
But:
“Listen to the sounds.
Understand them.
Put them together.
Read the word.”
He doesn’t need to read everything today.
Today, he just needs to take the next step.
And today, he did. 😊
“You did a good job on your first day.”
