សាកវប្បកម្មកម្ពុជា Horticulture in Cambodia Led by General Directorate of Agriculture with support of various projects, including SNV/CHAIN, SDC’s fund. to improve horticulture practices in Cambodia.

The page supports & promotes knowledge of safe vegetable growing, availability, income & food security of farmers in rural areas in Cambodia. Horticulture is a part of agriculture that focus on vegetable, fruit, and ornamental plants. Horticulture falls between domestic and commercial cultivation. Department of Horticulture and Subsidiary Crops (DHSC) under General Directorate of Agriculture (GDA) of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF) is working on:
- Developing policies and designs projects, plans and development programs of horticultural and subsidiary crop production (HSCP).
- Setting directions, managing, and encouraging experimental research activities of subordinate research institution and extension activities on HSCP methodologies and development with key partners.
- Participating in developing and improving HSCP to insure enhancement of agricultural product’s quality and market expansion.
- Working with related key stakeholders at national and international level including private sectors. DHSC is currently working closely with key partners, including SNV/CHAIN, FAO, etc.
