PPBS students are working hard! Final exams for the first semester will be written soon! This also will be the end of 4 years of studies for some of our students. Pray for our students who will be finishing their classes soon. Pray that the Lord will open doors for them and guide them into paths of ministry and opportunity.

Seminary students from the US visiting our seminary students in Cambodia! What a highlight to meet students from the other side of the world with the same heart for the lost. Thank you, OCC for visiting PPBS, learning about and appreciating our people and country, and best of all, playing, learning, and worshiping our common Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together. He is the one who brings us together! Come again soon!!!!!

Welcome home to PPBS! Alumni returned for a beautiful reunion! A time to share stories, be encouraged, and make special memories! Camping this time of year can be HOT but many persevered! What a time to rejoice together, pray together, and give praise to the One who calls us out of darkness to walk in His marvelous light. Special thanks to Sovan Lo, the PPBS Chair of Board, for joining us and sharing with us from God’s Word. 8th Annual PPBS Alumni Gathering…already looking forward to the next one!

Khmer New Year was a special time for our students! Time to return to their home provinces to spend time with family. Special decorations include colourful flag banners, dried grass backdrops with straw hats, and farming wagons, oxen, scythes, sheafs, and palm leaves. Special traditions include gathering to prepare food, honouring your elder relatives by washing them, and yes, village-wide water gun battles. Even Phnom Penh, and other larger towns around the country, drew crowds by the thousands for water gun, bucket, water hose battles-- even fire engines would spray the crowds. What a fun way to ring in the new year and find ways to enjoy this hottest season of the year. Phnom Penh Bible School welcomes the new year and all of our students back as we began classes again this week. Soursdey Chnam Thmey (សួស្តីឆ្នាំថ្មី)
Thank you, PPBS students, Naomi and Boun (and Khmer Times) for sharing photos with us from your trips home!

Khmer New Year! The biggest holiday in Cambodia! Cambodia celebrates their New Year in April with the end of the rice harvest, a pause for the farmers to rest before the start of another cultivation season. This is also a time for many traditional games, dances, foods, and time with family…and no school! PPBS had another year of epic traditional games! These photos don't do it justice…you just have to be there. 🤣 Now, PPBS students, as all students across the country, have time off to spend with family. Pray for our students and staff…for safety as they travel and valuable time reconnecting with loved ones. Happy New Year! សួស្តី ចូលឆ្នាំថ្មី (Suasdei Chaul Chhnam Thmei)!

Our students are returning from their Field Ministry Exposure trips and we are hearing amazing stories! Meanwhile, with grateful hearts, let's look back to this celebration we had in March.
March marks the founding of PPBS and we had the privilege of celebrating God’s work through PPBS for the past 34 years! Decades of answered prayer and seeing God provide.
Thank you to our beloved principal for sharing from God’s word and about PPBS history, and for our amazing staff for the slideshow. We wish we could send a slice of cake as a token of appreciation to the many who have invested in the growth of PPBS. We are so grateful for each person and gift and prayer, and thank GOD for his faithfulness over the years!
Happy 34th, PPBS!

Asking for Prayer! PPBS students were prayed for and sent out to serve in 6 churches in rural areas of Cambodia. Thank you, Teacher Harry, for the inspirational exhortation to send them off! The students will be learning about how to do ministry in different areas as well as sharing the gospel in rural communities. We had a sending out service on Thursday, and then on Friday they left Phnom Penh for the provinces. (see map). Please pray for them and for the advance of the gospel. It is HOT and the students are being stretched in new ways. Thanks for covering them in prayer!
