🌱🌼 Growing Young Minds Through Nature – EY3 at Makson PPT Campus 🌼🌱

Our Early Years 3 learners recently enjoyed a hands-on gardening activity where they explored different flowers and plants, planted their own flowers, and learned what plants need to grow healthy and strong — water, sunlight, air, and soil. 🌞💧🌿

Through this fun and meaningful experience, the children developed responsibility, patience, teamwork, and communication skills, while also strengthening their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Most importantly, they discovered the joy of caring for nature and learning through play. 🌍

On April 30, 2026, the atmosphere at MAKSON International Academy, OCIC Campus, was filled with a spirit of creativity and academic excellence. The school organized the final round of the "Essay Writing Competition," which was uniquely designed to go beyond traditional standards.

On stage, our student finalists displayed confident smiles, supported by the enthusiastic cheers and applause of the audience as they stepped up to present. Each presentation masterfully integrated Khmer literature with modern technology. Students utilized professional slides to courageously defend their perspectives and arguments before the panel of judges, parents, guardians, and classmates.

These students have demonstrated remarkable growth in both soft skills and technical proficiency, reflecting the true essence of 21st-century education. With essay content rich in moral and educational values, this program served as a meaningful platform to cultivate active creativity for the future.

At Makson International Academy, Phnom Penh Thmey Campus, our Early Years 5 students enjoyed a meaningful life skills activity on Wednesday as they learned how to make fresh spring rolls.

During the activity, the children listened attentively as their teacher explained the steps and introduced the ingredients. After observing the demonstration, they had the opportunity to make their own spring rolls alongside their teacher and classmates.

Not only did they enjoy tasting their delicious creations, but they also practiced fine motor skills through the rolling process. It was wonderful to see their happiness, bright smiles, creativity, flexibility, and strong teamwork throughout the activity.

Learning through hands-on experiences helps our students build confidence, develop practical life skills, and create joyful memories in the classroom.

On Friday, 3 April 2026, our students at Makson International Academy, 598 Campus took part in our wonderful Speech Contest for Grades 1 to 4.

The students were all absolutely fantastic! They showed great bravery as they stood in front of an audience and shared their speeches with confidence. Each student brought something special to the stage, and it was a pleasure to listen to their ideas, expression, and effort.

Our young speakers were brave, expressive, and interesting to listen to, and we are so proud of the courage and enthusiasm they showed throughout the event. Activities like these help students grow in confidence, communication, and public speaking skills, while also giving them a chance to shine.

Today our young explorers blasted off into a world of imagination and creativity during Space Day! 🌌 From designing their own sparkling stars to building incredible rocket ships, the excitement was out of this world.

The children got hands-on with chalk galaxy art, created their own space scenes, and even took part in a fun meteor shower game! 👽 To top it all off, they made fantastic alien headbands—ready for any intergalactic mission.

It was a day full of creativity, teamwork, and curiosity as our little astronauts explored the wonders of space. We’re so proud of their enthusiasm and imagination! 🌟

We celebrated Earth Day with a variety of hands-on and meaningful activities across our Early Years classes. Our Nursery students enjoyed watering plants and helping care for our environment, while our EY3-EY5 students explored flower planting, created beautiful trees, and painted a world map to learn about the different climates around our Earth.

This day is so important for our children to understand, as it helps them develop a sense of responsibility and appreciation for the world around them. Through these experiences, they begin to learn how small actions—like caring for plants and respecting nature—can make a big difference.

Together, we are nurturing a generation that values and protects our planet 💚🌎
