The K1 explorers had a wonderful time during their Globe Adventure Project, where they learned about the continents of Earth in a fun and engaging way! The teachers introduced a real globe, encouraging the children to recall and point out countries they had learned about, sparking excitement and curiosity.

To bring their learning to life, the children created their own globes by painting the land and oceans. As they carefully painted the continents and surrounded them with blue oceans, they developed a deeper understanding of how land and water make up our world.

This hands-on activity made learning meaningful and memorable, inspiring curiosity and turning the children into confident little explorers of the Earth! ✨🌏

🌍 Our Kindergarten 1 students explored the wonders of our Earth through an exciting and hands-on learning experience! They discussed the different layers of the Earth and discovered what makes up our planet, including land and water. The children also began to understand how the sun influences climate and weather patterns. To deepen their learning, they explored real materials—touching lake water, seawater, soil and sand—observing and comparing their differences.

This sensory-rich activity sparked curiosity, encouraged questioning and built early scientific thinking. It was a joyful and meaningful journey as our young learners connected with nature around them!

As part of our Community theme, our young learners enjoyed making chapatis from scratch! They participated in every step — from mixing and kneading the dough to rolling and cooking their chapatis — before tasting their delicious creations. 🥖✨

This hands-on activity helped develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, listening and comprehension. It also encouraged teamwork, patience and curiosity about foods from different cultures. As the children waited for their turn, carefully followed each step and patiently watched their chapatis cook before tasting, they learned the value of patience while engaging their senses and expanding their food vocabulary. 💛
