Every lesson feels like a workout for my brain, my tongue, my lips — basically my whole face.

After practising pronunciation for an hour, my mouth is tired, my face is numb, and I start questioning all my life choices. 😵‍💫
But then I realise… wait, I can actually say more than I could last week!And that tiny bit of progress? Weirdly addictive.So yes, I enjoy learning Chinese.
Apparently, I also enjoy the pain of getting better. 😂🇨🇳Chinese: 50% learning, 50% facial workout, 100% worth it.” learning learning
