Rodwell Malaysia Trip 2026
On July 9, 2026, our students had an incredible trip to Kuala Lumpur! Here’s a look at what we captured from our trip:
Day 1:
After a long flight from home, we landed in Malaysia just in time for lunch and got to taste Malaysian cuisine for the first time. We then took the train to the city center and headed straight to the Petronas Twin Towers, checking the first destination off our bucket list!
Day 2:
We started our day with McDonald's before heading to the famous Batu Caves. Yes, we climbed all the brightly colored steps to the top! After grabbing lunch on our way back, we checked off another bucket list location: the Aquarium. The students had a fantastic time enjoying the breathtaking underwater views.
Day 3:
The real adventure began as students were divided into groups to navigate the train system and get to Central Market independently. Everyone arrived safely, and the shopping began! Chinatown was our lunch spot, where students split into groups to try different foods. With no breaks needed, we went straight to the Science Center, where students showed off their skills in art and technology. Even after a long day, our students were still full of energy and loved exploring the city on their own.
Day 4:
On our final morning, students and teachers took time to reflect on their experiences throughout the tour and pitched their ideas on tourism. Afterward, some did some last-minute shopping while others finished packing. After packing up, we couldn't miss the famous Hainanese Chicken place for lunch. Finally, with our bags heavily packed with gifts and memories, we headed to the airport to catch our flight back home.
