Recently, our Grade 6 science students took their learning beyond textbooks by planting and caring for their own plants as part of their science class.

Through this hands-on activity, students explored the life cycle of plants and learned about the conditions needed for living things to grow and thrive. Activities like these help make learning more engaging, meaningful, and memorable while encouraging observation, responsibility, and curiosity.

Movie Night Fundraiser 🎬

Last week, our Grade 11 students hosted a movie night for the elementary students as part of their banquet fundraiser. The evening was filled with excitement, laughter, and a strong sense of community.

More than just a memorable night for our elementary students, it was also a great opportunity for our Grade 11 students to apply real-world skills—leading, planning, and serving others through a community event. Through opportunities like these, students gain valuable hands-on experience while strengthening connections, not only among themselves but also within the wider school community.

Biblical Worship & Events Production 🎤

Every week, our Biblical Worship & Events Production class transforms the multi-purpose room from an empty space into a venue ready to be filled with live music, skits, and games for chapel.

In this class, students are taught practical skills in sound production, stage lighting, graphics displays, and other key aspects of event production, gaining hands-on experience while working together behind the scenes.

This is one of many classes offered at Logos where students gain real-world skills they can continue using long after they graduate. These opportunities also help students discover their interests, grow in confidence, and use their abilities to serve Christ and their community. 💙🎶

Khmer New Year Celebration 2026 🎉

In celebration of Khmer New Year, Logos held our very own school-wide celebration last week, just before the holiday break.

Students came dressed in beautiful Khmer traditional attire, ready for a day filled with joy, culture, and community. The celebration featured stunning dance performances prepared by our secondary Khmer students, followed by a variety of traditional Khmer games enjoyed by students across all grade levels.

It was wonderful to see our students actively honoring Cambodian culture and embracing its rich traditions. This annual event is a meaningful opportunity to build connections, strengthen community, and create lasting memories together. 💙
