Advanced Diploma in Interior Design | Field Trip 2026

This field trip provided our Interior Design students with an immersive exploration of Siem Reap’s rich traditions in craftsmanship, materiality, and sustainable design. Through visits to local artisans, workshops, and material processing centres, students gained first-hand experience that bridged academic design theory with real-world material applications.

The experience offered valuable insights into how traditional Cambodian craftsmanship and locally sourced, low-impact materials can be thoughtfully integrated into contemporary interior spaces and innovative design solutions—encouraging a deeper appreciation for cultural heritage, sustainability, and responsible design.

Interior Design Field Trip | CLAYART & ACACIA

Our Interior Design students embarked on an inspiring field trip to Clayart and Acacia, exploring the latest innovations in interior materials and finishes.

At Clayart, students discovered innovative modified clay materials that offer a natural and sustainable approach to modern wall coverings. They also visited the Acacia showroom, where they explored a wide range of premium upholstery and curtain fabrics, gaining valuable insights into contemporary interior design trends and material selection.

A meaningful day of hands-on learning, industry exposure, and creative inspiration—empowering our future interior designers with knowledge beyond the classroom.
