ភ្នំពេញ៖ ថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ ២ រោច ខែភទ្របទ ឆ្នាំឆ្លូវ ត្រីស័ក ពស. ២៥៦៥ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃ ២៣ ខែកញ្ញា ឆ្នាំ២០២១ មហាវិទ្យាល័យវិទ្យាសាស្ត្រព្រៃឈើ នៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទកសិកម្ម បានសហការជាមួយសាកលវិទ្យាល័យ ហេង សំរិន ត្បូងឃ្មុំ និងអង្គការកែឆ្នៃសំរាម និងការសិក្សានៅកម្ពុជា (COMPED) រៀបចំសិក្ខាសាលាផ្សព្វផ្សាយគម្រោងស្តីពី “គោលនយោបាយ និងការគ្រប់គ្រងសំណល់រឹងប្រកបដោយចីរភាព-SWAP” ដែលប្រព្រឹត្តទៅតាមរយះតាមប្រព័ន្ធអនឡាញ ZOOM។ សិក្ខាសាលានេះមានគោលបំណងសំខាន់ៗពីរ៖ ១) ដើម្បីផ្សព្វផ្សាយព័ត៌មានទូទៅរបស់គម្រោង និង២) ពិភាក្សាលើបញ្ហាប្រឈមនិងឱកាស និងគោលគំនិតគន្លឹះដើម្បីរៀបចំគោលនយោបាយលើកកម្ពស់ការអនុវត្តគម្រោងសំរាមសំណល់រឹងប្រកបដោយចីរភាពនៅកម្ពុជា។ សិក្ខាសាលានេះបានទទួលការចូលរួមពីថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ លោកគ្រូអ្នកគ្រូ អ្នកស្រាវជ្រាវ និងនិស្សិត នៃសាលកវិទ្យាល័យភូមិន្ទកសិកម្ម សាកលវិទ្យាល័យហេងសំរិនត្បូងឃ្មុំ អង្គការ ស្ថាប័ន និងវិស័យឯកជនដែលពាក់ព័ន្ធសរុបចំនួន ១០០ នាក់។ វេទិកាពិភាក្សាដោយអញ្ជើញចូលរួមពីវាគ្មិនកិត្តិយសចំនួនពីររូប៖ ឯកឧត្តម ជៀក អាង ជាជំនួយការអមក្រសួងបរិស្ថាន និងលោក សំ ផល្លា ជានាយករងនៃអង្គការ COMPED ផ្តោតសំខាន់ទៅលើបញ្ហាប្រឈម និងឱកាសក្នុង ការអនុវត្តការគ្រប់គ្រងសំរាមសំណល់រឹងនៅកម្ពុជា។

On 23rd September 2021, the Faculty of Forest Sciences of the Royal University of Agriculture has collaborated with University of Heng Samrin Thboungkhmum, and organization of waste processing and education in Cambodia (COMPED), organized a dissemination workshop on "Sustainable Solid Waste Management and Policy-SWAP" through ZOOM online. The workshop has two main objectives: 1) to provide a general overview about the project, and 2) to discuss the challenges and opportunities and key concepts to develop policies and to improve the implementation of sustainable solid waste management projects in Cambodia. The workshop was attended by high management level, professors, researchers and students of the Royal University of Agriculture, University of Heng Samrin Thboungkhmum, NGOs and relevant private sectors totally 100 participants. The panel discussion with participation from the two distinguished speakers H.E Chiek Ang, Advisor attached to the Ministry of Environment and Mr. Sam Phalla, Deputy Director of COMPED, focused on the challenges and opportunities for solid waste management in Cambodia.

Phnom Penh: On Monday, 1st February 2021, the Faculty of Forestry Science of the Royal University of Agriculture in collaboration with the ASPIRE Secretariat organized a training workshop on “Data Collection & Entry into Management Information System (MIS) & Monitoring & Evaluation” at the Royal University of Agriculture. This training is organized by the project of Scaling-up Climate Resilient Agriculture (SUCRA) under the sub-component 3.2 of MAFFs’ Agriculture Services Programme for Innovations, Resilience and Extension (ASPIRE) funded by IFAD. The objectives were to strengthen the capacity of the farmer facilitators in the target provinces (Kampong Chhanag and Pursat) focused on the data collection of 1500 SUCRA’s farmers for MIS system of ASPIRE. The training was attended by relevant institutions, including the ASPIRE Secretariat, SUCRA team of the Royal University of Agriculture, Provincial Coordinators, farmer facilitators in both provinces. As a result, all participants had the capacity of facilitating farmers in the target provinces, and the two provincial coordinators absorbed knowledge on data entry and management for future data plans and activities.

On 27th -28th Feb 2020, Center for Agricultural and Environmental Studies of Royal University of Agriculture (CAES of RUA) is cooperated with Center for Development and Environment (CDE) of University of Bern, Switzerland, hosting World Overview of Conservation Approaches and Technologies (WOCAT) Secretariat. Under cooperation of Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Preah Vihear to organize “ Workshop on Land Degradation Mapping and Consultation for Sustainable Land Management (SLM) Practice Scaling-up Pathways in Cambodia”. That is a part of “Scaling-up Sustainable Land Management (SLM) Practice by Smallholder Farmers” Project. This workshop is located in Provincial Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries of Preah Vihear​ Province.

Center for Agricultural and Environmental Studies of Royal University of Agriculture follows up the demonstrations and Scaling up Sustainable Land Management (SLM) Practices in Rovieng District, Preah Vihear Province. The activity is a part of project "Scaling-up Sustainable Land Management (SLM) practices by smallholder farmers" funded by IFAD through CDE (WOCAT), CAES of RUA. Its aims to understand the current practices at the farm level and scale up SLM technologies for improving farmers’ farm through applying existing and innovative technologies at different landscapes.
