Sample class I restoration can be fun if you try your best to produced outcome which restored both function and aesthetic.
The clinical procedure discussed below:
1- Diagnose of pulpal condition
2- Local anesthesia : IDB and long buccal nerve block to provide painless procedure
4- Rubber dam placement
3- Removal of caries using high speed and slow speed round bur
4- Ensure there is not soft caries remaining (especially on the cavity margin) with spoon excavator and explorer
5- etching cavity with 37% phosphoric acid (using selective etch technique)
6- Rinse and dry the cavity
7- apply bonding and airblow for 13 second
8- Incremental placement is placed
9- Occlusal check and polishing

**Occlusal stamp technique and free hand using essential line technique is a common technique for producing occlusal anatomy*****

Patient Come to your clinic complains about a very painful tooth in his/her mouth. after a comprehensive history taking, clinical examination, X-ray and several special test have been conducted. you found that the patient have acute pulp inflammation. you gave an LA, you placed rubber dam nicely, but when you start access the cavity the patient still feel the pain and it hurt really bad. that is frustrated to all dentist. well.... it's not your fault entirely. Textbook of "Clinical Guide to Endodontic" Stated that teeth with acute inflammation are more difficult to achieves complete anesthesia. Some basic thing that most of us miss out “ergonomic” refers as posture when treating patient. But do you know that not only apply to dentist but also dental assistant. Most cambodia dental assistant assist the dentist standing instead of sitting which is extremely exhausting. Below is the picture of correct dental assistant chair and posture. Trust me it will make your life a lot easier. Standing while assistant don’t make you look like a hard worker. 😐😐

Hello long time no post ^^ how you guys doing? Today I have a good case report of endodontic on lower premolar teeth. The interesting is the teeth probably look quite simple from normal PA view. After taking CBCD to look from proximal aspect is quite different 😗😗😗😍

Scaling and prophylaxis seem like an easy procedure and often time most clinic let their dental assistants do the works. But the purpose of this procedure is not just remove calculus but also produce surface smoothness so the calculus not reformed soon after scaling and root planing. This study have shown that ultrasonic scaler will not produce surface smoothness compare to hand instrument. So what you can do is start with ultrasonic scaler remove as much calculus as possible and finish with hand instrument and prophylaxis. This methods is also ISO.
