Mother's Day is an occasion which is celebrated in various parts of the world to express respect, honor and love toward mothers. This year Mekong Dialogue Institute is celebrating Mother's Day by organizing a Slogan Contest so children can express in words what their mother means to them for a chance to win a luxurious full-body massage and spa relaxation treatment both the winner and his/her mother. To participate, please write a one-sentence slogan with a short explanation and submit it to MDI page messenger. Slogan can either be in Khmer or English, must be only ONE sentence long with clear message that convey your love, appreciation and show what your mother means to you.

Prize: Luxurious full body massage and spa for 2 (winner and the mother!) 1st Prize: most meaningful and catchy slogan.
2nd Prize: most popular slogan. This prize is judged by post with the most reaction (like, love, etc).

នាថ្ងៃសៅរ៍ ១៥ កើត ខែ ចេត្រ ឆ្នាំរកា នព្វស័ក ពុទ្ធសករាជ ២៥៦១ ត្រូវនឹងថ្ងៃទី ៣១ ខែមិនា ឆ្នាំ ២០១៨ អង្គការវិទ្យាស្ថានសន្ទនាមេគង្គបានរៀបចំកម្មវិធី MDI Talk ក្រោមប្រធានបទ “វិធីសាស្ត្រក្នុងការបង្រៀន” ដែលបានប្រព្រឹត្តទៅចាប់ពីម៉ោង ១:៣០ នាទី រហូតដល់ម៉ោង ៤:០០ រសៀល នៅ ពុទ្ធសាសនបណ្ឌិត្យដែលមានវត្តមានបណ្ឌិត គួយ សុគាន ប្រធានផ្នែកសាស្តា្រចារ្យអក្សរសាស្ត្រខ្មែរនៃវិទ្យសា្ថនជាតិអប់រំ ជាវាគ្មិនកិត្តិយស។ កម្មវិធីនេះផងដែរបានផ្តោតទៅលើការកំណត់សម្គាល់ពីបណ្តាវិធីសាស្ត្រផ្សេងៗសម្រាប់ការបង្រៀន ។

In the afternoon of March 31, 2018, Mekong Dialogue Institute organized “MDI Talks” under
the topic of “Teaching Methodology” from 1:30PM to 4:00 PM at Buddhist Institute. It was a great honor to have Dr. Kouy Sokean, Head of Khmer Language Lecturers at National Institute of Education as our guest speaker. This program aimed to acknowledge various teaching
methods and was attended by both students and educators involving in this field.

On Thursday 29th of March at 2 pm at MDI office, Mekong Dialogue Institute is hosting
a dialogue joined by representatives from youth organization to discuss about UN
Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 5 which focus on ensuring inclusive and quality
education for all and to achieve gender equality for all women and girls. The purpose of
this meeting is to create a platform where a youth and women related organization in
Cambodia can discuss about the United Nations plan for inclusive an quality education
and gender equality on a global scale, how Cambodia will benefit from such guideline,
and what other guidelines we should develop to fit in Cambodia context so that more
youth and women can be benefited.

In the morning of March 11, 2018, Mekong Dialogue Institute organized “MDI Talks” program under the topic of “Water is life.” The event was held from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Buddhist Institute, and a great honor to have Mr. Chum Sophearith Chief of water supply office, Ministry of Rural Development as a guest speaker. This program aimed to acknowledge of using clean water and face the challenges while we use unclean water in daily life.
