Ocarina School of Music

🎶 Calling young pianists in Phnom Penh. This time, we leave the sheet music aside and make music differently !

During this Holiday Improvisation Workshop, children won’t just learn what to play : they will learn why music feels the way it does, and how to express it.

Program :

• Day 1 : Classical & Pop foundations
Learning how musical language shapes emotion and guides musical ideas.

• Day 2 : Groove & Pop-inspired music
Building rhythmic confidence through repetition, pulse, and stability.

• Day 3 : Jazz & Blues influences
Exploring musical tension, release, and freedom to develop listening and awareness.

• Day 4 : Film Music & Storytelling
Using music to create characters, moods, and stories through sound.

• Day 5 : Listening back and making musical choices
Replaying, recording, and learning to recognize what feels right, what they enjoy, and how they want to play.

By the end of the workshop, children will play with more confidence and awareness. It’s a chance to experience music as something alive, expressive, and personal !

🎼 Intermediate level - A free assessment can be done by appointment before enrolling

Fees : $150 per week

To ensure quality, groups are limited to 6 participants.
