Brighton International School is a family-run, nonprofit Elementary and Primary School based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Using both the UK and Khmer National Curriculums we aim to provide quality, affordable education to serve our community. Our education programme strives to deliver a fun, holistic and child centred learning environment in which our students may grow into caring, global citizens.

Today we held our Science Fair at Brighton, and it was a truly rewarding experience. It was wonderful to see our students confidently conduct and explain their experiments with such enthusiasm. We learned so much together and thoroughly enjoyed watching learning come to life. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them.

Easter fun all around! 🐣 The children enjoyed an exciting egg hunt followed by decorating their own eggs—creativity, laughter, and joy in every moment.

Crazy Hair Day filled our school with joy and laughter. Students proudly chose their own styles, turning the day into a celebration of individuality, confidence, and fun!
This week was full of fun and hands-on learning for our preschoolers! The children enjoyed Q-tip painting, creating colorful tree leaves and an exciting volcano while strengthening their fine motor skills. They also practiced shape sorting to build their thinking skills and made necklaces and bracelets by connecting beads, encouraging creativity and coordination. A joyful week of learning through play! 🌈✨

Today we had the privilege of being visited (for the second time!) by renowned children’s book author Ariane Chapelle. We had so much fun during the workshop—writing our own stories with a little help and lots of inspiration from Ariane. Some of us even got the chance to read our stories to her!
Some students ordered her books and received signed copies, and we were proud to receive certificates of participation for this wonderful event. Kleang Leu and Ariane also gifted us beautiful shirts.
Today was memorable, fun, and engaging—we’ll be talking about it for days!
Note: We learned that proceeds from the book sale will go to the children of Kleang Leu. This is a wonderful partnership between Ariane and Kleang Leu, and we are happy to be part of it.
