We're back! After a long awaited move into our new place, The Learning Centre is back and preparing to run a variety of English programs starting this June 2017. We're now located in Russey Keo, Borey Vimean (project 5). Stay up to date with information on our upcoming classes and how to enroll!
The Learning Centre would like to announce that we are moving this month. We will no longer be located inside Bassac Garden. We will update you shortly once our new location is confirmed. The Grow Baby Playgroups and The Language Link Book Club will be postponed until we're settled into our new location.

TODAY IS NATIONAL SHAMU DAY IN THE USA - COMPETITION
Shamu Day was first celebrated by Sea World on Sept 26th, 1985, when the first infant Orca (Killer Whale) was 'successfully' born in captivity at the Sea World centre. Earlier this year, after years of campaigning to end the Orca breeding program at Sea World, the Sea World president finally declared to end it's breeding program and Orcas will no longer be exploited to perform for entertainment purposes. Since it's first opening, 3 trainers have been tragically killed at Sea World and all whales have died prematurely, many in horrific circumstances. Today we'd like to engage people's awareness of the torture these whales go through and encourage all of you to support the ongoing campaign to stop allowing whales and other animals to be kept in captivity. As we'd like to encourage more people to be aware of this day and what it should really represent, we'd like to ask all of our followers, family members and children especially, to design a poster for National Shamu Day highlighting why Orca's belong in the wild. You share your poster with us via email or posting directly onto our wall. The winner of the best poster will receive a free book about whales.

Only 3 days left to enroll onto our Beginners English course. This course will teach students a strong foundation of the English language by way of teaching alphabet phonetics, essential beginners reading and writing skills, beginners grammar and vocabulary.
