[English Below]

Communication is so much bigger than words. 💙 Decoding your child's "secret language" today.
As parents, we often wait anxiously for that "first spoken word," believing it is the only true benchmark of communication. But for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN), they are often speaking to us constantly through a beautiful, silent language. We just need to learn how to read it.
At CARE Center, we train our teams and parents to look for the "Small Wins in Communication." Connection isn’t just verbal; it has many layers:
✨ When your child pulls your hand toward a toy they want... they are talking to you.
✨ When they lock eyes with you for just 2 seconds and smile... they are sharing their world with you.
✨ When they hand you a picture card (PECS) to ask for water... they have achieved a massive milestone in functional communication.
💡 Shifting Our Expectations:
If we only respond when a child speaks perfectly, we miss all the beautiful attempts they make along the way. When you lower your physical level, meet their eyes, and respond enthusiastically to their gestures, sounds, or looks, you teach them a vital lesson: "Your voice matters, and I am listening."
How does your child love to express themselves most at home? (Through physical leading, sounds, or visual cues?)
