Hello, my name is Mean Kunthea, and I am studying at Above & Beyond.

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱, my feelings changed from curiosity into something real and powerful. It is a place where I am growing, discovering my strength, and 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗜 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹. During study here, I learned that patience and persistence are more important than being perfect.

Now, 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀. Mistakes are proof that I am learning, and they are part of the process of finding a better way. When I face a problem, I have learned to stay calm, think again, and break big problems into smaller problems so I can solve them step by step.

𝗔𝘁 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 & 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱, I did not just learn how to write code.
I learned how to think. I learned not to give up when things do not work, to keep trying until I find a solution, and to communicate with and respect the friends I study with.

There is 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 I want to share with students 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 their learning journey.

𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗸𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.
What matters is not giving up and continuing to learn. It is okay to make mistakes. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿.

[ខេត្តកំពង់ស្ពឺ] ថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ – ក្នុងគោលដៅរួមចំណែកអភិវឌ្ឍធនធានមនុស្សក្នុងវិស័យបច្ចេកវិទ្យា និងស្របតាមយុទ្ធសាស្ត្របញ្ចកោណរបស់រាជរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា សាលា 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 & 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 (𝗔&𝗕) បានចុះអនុស្សរណៈនៃការយោគយល់គ្នា (MoU) ជាផ្លូវការជាមួយ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ជនបទ។

កិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការនេះ ធ្វើឡើងក្រោមគោលការណ៍អនុញ្ញាតដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់ពី ឯកឧត្តម ឆាយ ប្ញទ្ធិសែន រដ្ឋមន្ត្រីក្រសួងអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ជនបទ ដោយផ្តោតសំខាន់លើការផ្តល់វគ្គបណ្តុះបណ្តាលជំនាញឌីជីថល និងការវិភាគទិន្នន័យ ជូនដល់មន្ត្រីមជ្ឈមណ្ឌល និងយុវជននៅទីជនបទ ដើម្បីត្រៀមខ្លួនប្រកួតប្រជែងក្នុងទីផ្សារការងារសម័យទំនើប។
ដើម្បីប្រែក្លាយចក្ខុវិស័យនេះឱ្យក្លាយជាការពិត សាលា Above & Beyond នឹងផ្តល់ជូននូវកម្មវិធីសិក្សាផ្នែក Front-End Development។ លើសពីនេះ យើងនឹងផ្គត់ផ្គង់នូវ មាតិកាសិក្សា (Learning Content) សៀវភៅណែនាំប្រតិបត្តិការ (Operational Manual) ការបណ្តុះបណ្តាលអ្នកសម្របសម្រួល (Facilitator Training) និងវេទិកាឌីជីថល (Digital Platform) ដ៏ទូលំទូលាយ ដើម្បីធានាថាដំណើរការនៃការសិក្សាប្រព្រឹត្តទៅប្រកបដោយគុណភាពខ្ពស់។

ពិធីចុះហត្ថលេខានេះ បានប្រព្រឹត្តទៅក្រោមវត្តមាន កញ្ញា ថោង សូរិយាភ័ណ្ឌ នាយកសាលា Above & Beyond និង លោក ហ៊ុន ប៊ុនរ៉ា នាយកមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលអភិវឌ្ឍន៍ជនបទកម្ពុជា–កូរ៉េ ព្រមទាំងថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ មន្ត្រីបច្ចេកទេស និងសិក្ខាកាមជាច្រើនរូប។
យើងមានមោទនភាពក្នុងការចូលរួមកសាងសមត្ថភាពសិក្ខាកាមនៅថ្ងៃនេះ ឱ្យក្លាយជា «គ្រូបង្គោល» ដ៏រឹងមាំ ដើម្បីបន្តផ្ទេរចំណេះដឹងឌីជីថលទៅកាន់សហគមន៍ជនបទនាពេលអនាគត។ តាមរយៈភាពជាដៃគូនេះ Above & Beyond ប្តេជ្ញាធ្វើជាស្ពានតភ្ជាប់យុវជនកម្ពុជាទៅកាន់ឱកាសការងារកម្រិតខ្ពស់ និងរួមចំណែកជំរុញកំណើនសេដ្ឋកិច្ចឌីជីថលជាតិ។

[Kampong Speu] – Driven by a shared mission to build robust technological capacity across Cambodia and in alignment with the Royal Government's Pentagonal Strategy, 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 & 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 (𝗔&𝗕) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 on Thursday, April 23, 2026.

Held under the high authorization of 𝗛.𝗘. 𝗖𝗵𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗻, 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, this partnership aims to deliver a comprehensive digital skills and data analytics training program to empower center officials and rural youth for the modern job market.

𝗧𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁, A&B is committed to bringing our industry expertise to the community. We will provide a 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺. At 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, students take a special assessment after completing one month of Python learning. This exam is conducted without computers. Students write their code directly on paper using only a test sheet and a pen.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫?

Writing code on paper is not simply about checking whether students have memorized syntax. It is a way to see whether they can read a problem, analyze conditions, design the steps of a solution, and understand the flow of variables, loops, and conditional statements on their own.

💻 𝐎𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫, students can rely on auto-complete, error messages, and instant ex*****on results. 🗒 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫, their thinking process becomes visible. Teachers can more clearly see how students understand the problem and what logic they use to solve it.

AI can generate code. But humans must still understand why the code works, where it needs improvement, and how it should be used responsibly.

That is why 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: recognizing problems, understanding them, and designing solutions. 📚💡

Through this assessment, students did not only review Python syntax. They trained the computational thinking skills they will need in the age of AI.

ដើម្បីចូលរួមដោះស្រាយបញ្ហានេះ 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 បានដំណើរការនូវថ្នាក់រៀនអនឡាញផ្នែកបច្ចេកវិទ្យាព័ត៌មាន និងសារគមនាគមន៍ (ICT) ដែលបើកឱកាសឱ្យមានការសិក្សាគ្រប់ពេលវេលា និងគ្រប់ទីកន្លែង។ លើសពីឧបករណ៍បច្ចេកវិទ្យា វាគឺជាស្ពានចម្លងតភ្ជាប់កុមារ និងសហគមន៍ទៅកាន់ការអប់រំដ៏មានអត្ថន័យ។

ចក្ខុវិស័យនេះកំពុងលេចចេញជារូបរាងឡើងនៅអង្គការអាហ្ស៊ីហ្សា (𝐀𝐳𝐢𝐳𝐚’𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞) ក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា 🇰🇭 និងសាលា 𝐉𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐫𝐚 ក្នុងប្រទេសម៉ាឡាវី 🇲🇼។ ឆ្លងកាត់ទ្វីប វប្បធម៌ និងតំបន់ពេលវេលាខុសៗគ្នា ក្តីសង្ឃឹមតែមួយ កំពុងរីកដុះដាលនៅក្នុងគ្រប់ថ្នាក់រៀន៖ កុមារគ្រប់រូបសមនឹងទទួលបានឱកាសក្នុងការរៀនសូត្រ លូតលាស់ និងត្រៀមខ្លួនសម្រាប់អនាគត។

តាមរយៈថ្នាក់រៀនអនឡាញផ្នែក ICT និងសាលារៀនខ្នាតតូច (𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬) របស់ 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 កំពុងជួយកុមារឱ្យភ្ជាប់ទំនាក់ទំនងទៅកាន់ពិភពឌីជីថល ស្វែងយល់ពីសក្តានុពលរបស់ពួកគេ និងស្រមៃមើលអនាគតដ៏ទូលំទូលាយ។ យើងមិនត្រឹមតែបង្រៀនពីបច្ចេកវិទ្យាប៉ុណ្ណោះទេ តែយើងកំពុងបើកទ្វារថ្មីឆ្ពោះទៅមុខ ដើម្បីលុបបំបាត់គម្លាតផ្នែកឌីជីថល។
ពីព្រោះទីកន្លែងកំណើតរបស់កុមារ មិនគួរជាអ្នកកំណត់ថាតើពួកគេអាចឈានទៅមុខបានឆ្ងាយកម្រិតណានោះឡើយ។

📚 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭.
We believe that being a great developer is about more than just writing good code. It is about identifying real needs and problems, designing the right solutions, and thinking through how those solutions can create value, generate revenue, and remain sustainable over time.
𝐓𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, our 5th backend students recently organized their 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀 (𝗕𝗠𝗖) and presented their upcoming project plans.
Through this experience, our students are developing four core competencies.

នៅថ្ងៃទី ២ គ្រប់យ៉ាងកាន់តែពិបាកខ្លាំង រហូតធ្វើឱ្យគាត់ចង់បោះបង់។
វាមានអារម្មណ៍ថាពិបាកពេក ថ្មីពេក ហើយគាត់ចាប់ផ្តើមគិតថា «ប្រហែលជាជំនាញនេះពិតជាមិនស័ក្តិសមនឹងខ្ញុំទេ»។
ប៉ុន្តែនៅពេលនោះ គាត់បានប្រាប់ខ្លួនឯងថា៖
«តស់!​សាកល្បងមួយថ្ងៃទៀត!!!»
គាត់មិនបានបោះបង់ឡើយ ហើយគាត់ក៏មិនបានកំណត់គោលដៅធំដុំអ្វីដែរ។ គាត់គ្រាន់តែសម្រេចចិត្តតស៊ូត្រឹមតែមួយថ្ងៃទៀតប៉ុណ្ណោះ។
ហើយមួយថ្ងៃនោះហើយ ដែលក្លាយជាចំណុចចាប់ផ្តើមនៃការផ្លាស់ប្តូរ។
បន្តិចម្តងៗ អ្វីដែលមិនធ្លាប់យល់សោះ ក៏ចាប់ផ្តើមយល់ជាងមុន ហើយមេរៀនដែលធ្លាប់តែមានអារម្មណ៍ថាពិបាកពេក ក៏ក្លាយជាងាយស្រួលយល់បន្តិចម្តងៗ។
ជាការពិតណាស់ វាមិនមែនដោយសារតែគ្រប់យ៉ាងស្រាប់តែងាយស្រួលនោះទេ។ ប៉ុន្តែដោយសារតែសិស្សម្នាក់នេះមិនព្រមបោះបង់ ហើយបានស្វែងរកមធ្យោបាយដើម្បីបន្តដំណើរទៅមុខ៖
🤝 គាត់បានរៀនជុំគ្នាជាមួយមិត្តរួមក្រុមតាមរយៈការសិក្សាជាក្រុម។
🔍 រាល់ពេលដែលគាត់មិនយល់ចំណុចណាមួយគាត់តែងតែបន្តស្រាវជ្រាវ តាមអ៊ីនធឺណិតដើម្បីបំពេញចំណុចខ្វះខាតនោះ។
ហើយពេលនេះ គាត់បានបញ្ចប់ការសិក្សាក្នុងខែដំបូងរបស់គាត់យ៉ាងជោគជ័យ។
គាត់លែងជាមនុស្សដែលគ្រាន់តែ «ទ្រាំតស៊ូ» ទៀតហើយ។ គាត់បានក្លាយជាមនុស្សដែលបន្តអភិវឌ្ឍខ្លួនដោយមានគោលដៅជាងមុន។
ហើយមូលហេតុនោះគឺពិតជាស្រស់ស្អាត គាត់ចង់វិវឌ្ឍខ្លួនពីមនុស្សម្នាក់ដែលធ្លាប់ពិបាកសូម្បីតែការប្រើប្រាស់កុំព្យូទ័រ ទៅជាបុគ្គលដែលមានតម្លៃម្នាក់ ជាអ្នកដែលអាចប្រើប្រាស់ជំនាញដែលបានរៀន ដើម្បីជួយសហគមន៍ និងព្រះវិហាររបស់គាត់ និងបង្កើតជាដំណោះស្រាយជាក់ស្តែង ដែលមនុស្សគ្រប់គ្នាពិតជាត្រូវការ។
សាច់រឿងមួយនេះបានបង្ហាញយើងយ៉ាងច្បាស់ថា៖
ការផ្លាស់ប្តូរដ៏ធំ មិនមែនតែងតែចាប់ផ្តើមចេញពីការសម្រេចចិត្តដ៏ធំនោះទេ។ ជួនកាល ត្រឹមតែមួយឃ្លាថា — «តោះសាកល្បងមួយថ្ងៃទៀត» — អាចក្លាយជាចំណុចចាប់ផ្តើមនៃដំណើរដែលអាចផ្លាស់ប្តូរជីវិតទាំងមូល។
វាមិនអីទេ បើអ្នកមានអារម្មណ៍ថាពិបាកនៅពេលនេះ។ វាមិនអីទេ បើអ្នកនៅតែមានអារម្មណ៍ថាខ្វះខាតនៅពេលនេះ។ អ្វីដែលសំខាន់ មិនមែនជាការចាប់ផ្តើមដ៏ល្អឥតខ្ចោះនោះទេ តែជាការជ្រើសរើសមិនបោះបង់ ហើយបន្តព្យាយាមមួយថ្ងៃទៀត។

🗓️ នៅថ្ងៃទី ០៧ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ២០២៧, យើងបានទៅលេងជាមួយប្អូនៗនៅ អង្គការ Aziza's Place, គោលបំណងបង្កើនចំណងមិត្តភាព, ចែករំលែកចំណេះដឹង, លើកទឹកចិត្តប្អូនៗ
កុមារក្នុងការសិក្សាដើម្បីអនាគតរបស់ពួកគេ។ សកម្មភាពរៀនជាក្រុម, ការបង្កើត កម្មវិធីដោយប្រើ Ai និងការលេងល្បែងប្រជាប្រិយខ្មែរ។

As we welcome the New Year, the 5th cohort students of Above & Beyond School practiced a special kind of love on the 7th.
They visited our micro-school partner, Aziza’s Place, where they built friendships, shared knowledge, and sincerely encouraged the younger students in their future.

The students at Aziza’s Place are learning through the online ICT courses provided by Above & Beyond School. However, some of them have felt afraid and discouraged because they did not fully understand the lessons they study every day.
Our students went to them directly, stood beside them in their fear, encouraged them by saying, “You can do it,” and did their very best to teach them in ways that were easier to understand.

🐍 𝐏𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬
We brought coding off the screen and focused on pure logic and human connection. The Above & Beyond students became patient mentors, guiding the students at Aziza’s Place step by step through the basic concepts of programming on paper.
This was not simply a time to learn code, but a time to remove fear of technology and build confidence together.

🤖𝐀𝐈 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Our students helped the younger students at Aziza’s Place use AI prompts to create the apps they wanted in less than an hour.
The students were amazed and delighted to see that they could create such wonderful results on their own. This experience became a meaningful first step in showing them how much they can achieve with their knowledge, and it inspired them to dream bigger in the world of technology.

The younger students at Aziza’s Place quickly regained their confidence, became more lively, and began to show hopeful smiles on their faces.
Seeing the students learn together, encourage one another, and smile together was one of the most beautiful moments in welcoming the Khmer New Year.

🧑🏻‍💻 Being good at coding alone is not enough.
What matters even more is the ability to build together, protect together, and complete together.

🧮 For their second mission, we provided our back-end students with in-depth training in Git and GitHub. Mastering these tools is essential for developing the skills required in the real industry, enabling developers to collaborate safely and systematically
on complex software projects.

🗓️ On Friday, April 3rd, the students demonstrated what they had learned by presenting their team-based Gitflow strategies. Each team designed its workflow around the Feature, Develop, Release, and Main branches, explaining in detail how collaboration and development flow can lead to better results.

🧩 This presentation marked an important turning point.
It was a step beyond simply writing code individually, and toward learning the mindset and collaboration practices required to build results as a team.

🙌🏻 We are incredibly proud to see our students thinking more structurally, understanding the principles of collaboration, and growing in ways that reflect real industry practices.

🏫 For her, Above and Beyond School was not simply a place of learning.

🧩 More than eight hours of learning each day, self-driven effort that continued through the weekends, intense teamwork, and moments of difficult challenge all made her stronger.
Through that process, she transformed fear into confidence and grew into a person with an attitude and skills that no one could replace. 👩‍💻
