🎉 Closing Ceremony – Soft Skills Training Program 🎉

On 5 December 2025, the AVT Project Phase II celebrated the successful conclusion of the two‑week Soft Skills Training Program.

Ms. Peng Leakena, Deputy Director of NTTI, presided over the ceremony and personally delivered certificates to the 20 participants who completed the program. Her leadership and encouragement made this milestone even more meaningful.

The AVT Project extends heartfelt thanks to the National Technical Training Institute (NTTI) for providing the venue and facilities that created a supportive environment for learning and growth.

On 04 December 2025, Day Four Week Two Highlights – Soft Skills Training at NTTI.
On the fourth day of training, participants focused on:

✅Building technical competence

✅Strengthening methodological skills

✅Completing the final test

They engaged in collaborative group exercises and concluded the session with the final test.

– 03 December 2025, Soft Skills Training for Technical Institutes On the third day of the second week, 20 teachers actively engaged in practical sessions focused on:

✅Effective rules for giving and receiving feedback

✅Understanding technical competence and the soft skills that support it

✅Approaches to training technical competence (TC) and related soft skills in a practice-oriented manner

✅Teaching strategies tailored to different learning styles

Throughout the day, all participants demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm and dedication.

On the second day of the second week, 20 teachers took part in hands-on sessions exploring:

📌The various roles and responsibilities of a trainer

📌How can social (SC) and personal competences (PC) be taught during class or special exercise?

📌Strategies for motivating trainees

📌Key factors that drive motivation

Throughout the day, all 20 participants showed remarkable enthusiasm and strong commitment to the training process.

– 01 December 2025: Day One of Week Two Highlights – Soft Skills Training at National Technical Training Institute (NTTI)

The second week of the soft skills training program was officially launched at NTTI, engaging 20 pedagogical instructors, 14 of whom are women, from regional technical training institutions.
During the first day, participants explored:
• Strategies to strengthen personal competence through self-awareness and emotional resilience
• The IKIGAI approach to uncover purpose and align passion with profession
• Eight core soft skills, including communication, adaptability, and time management

All 20 instructors showed remarkable enthusiasm and dedication throughout the sessions. They actively engaged in classroom activities, contributed to group discussions, and took ownership of tasks assigned by the trainers.

Day Five Recap: Soft Skills Training The fifth and final day of the first-week program featured a Feedback and Reflection Round, where participants engaged in open discussion to share insights, provide constructive feedback, and support the ongoing enhancement of the training experience. The day also included an exam.

This concluding session provided a meaningful wrap up to Phase I, strengthening key competencies and setting the foundation for the next stage of development.

Day Four Highlights

Day Four of the program focused on Adult Learning, Nonviolent Communication, and Emotional Intelligence (EQ/EI).

Adult Learning: Interactive discussions and problem-solving exercises helped participants connect lessons to real-life teaching.

Nonviolent Communication: Role-plays showed how empathetic language can transform conflicts.

EQ & EI: Reflection and group activities on self-awareness and empathy resonated deeply, with participants sharing personal stories.

✨ The day stood out for its relevance, interactivity, and emotional connection keeping participants highly engaged and motivated.

• Sender & Receiver Model: Four-sides model
• Active listening techniques
• Applying active listening in daily work routines
