This lovely shot of a bridge connecting to the library block of , which is a part of the larger Punggol Digital District Masterplan, was taken by . It won 3rd place in our competition. It is the academic heart of the campus and is wrapped in red fins - the connecting bridges branch out from it to the rest of the district like arteries.

Punggol Digital District (PDD) is a 50-hectare integrated district in Singapore designed to bring jobs, education, and social amenities closer to homes. It
creates a highly liveable, vibrant, sustainable,and biophilic environment through innovative urban planning, balancing density with ample greenery, and fostering deep integration across its multiple strata.

The direct synergy between the physically connected industry and academia creates an ecosystem for collaboration and one that spurs innovation.

PDD’s strategic planning enables a significant portion of the site’s vegetation to be conserved and transformed into a Community Park, thereby preserving a precious and generous green breathing space at the heart of the district.
