RUPP 1+3 Program Students set to continue their Studies at Angelo State University, Texas, USA in Business, IT, Bioengineering, Chemistry… in 2025-2026.

On 23 October 2025, students enrolled in the RUPP–ASU 1+3 Undergraduate Program in the academic year 2024-2025 have successfully finished their year-one studies at RUPP and had the honor of meeting with His Excellency Dr. Chet Chealy, Rector of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), and Dr. Lee, representative from Angelo States University (ASU), USA.

The meeting was held at the Royal University of Phnom Penh with the objective of providing students with academic guidance, cultural orientation, and practical advice in preparation for their upcoming studies at Angelo States University under the 1+3 program—one year of study at RUPP followed by three years at ASU, Texas, USA.

During the session, H.E. Dr. Chet Chealy encouraged students to uphold RUPP’s values of academic integrity, global citizenship, and lifelong learning, emphasizing the importance of representing Cambodia with excellence abroad, and especially becoming an individual with high values. Dr. Lee shared comprehensive information about ASU’s academic environment, student services, and procedures for applying for on-campus part-time employment, which can support students’ personal and professional development during their studies in the United States. All students expressed great excitement and enthusiasm as they eagerly await their upcoming flights to the United States to begin their academic journey very soon.
