❌ Mistake #1 — Forgetting to Add a Switch
Problem:
When connecting multiple PCs to a Router, beginners often try to connect PCs directly to the Router. However, a Router 1941 only has 2 LAN ports (Gig0/0 and Gig0/1), so you cannot connect 5 PCs directly!
❌ Mistake #2 — Forgetting to Install HWIC-2T Module
Problem:
Cisco Router 1941 does NOT come with a Serial port by default. If you try to connect a Serial cable without installing the module first, you will get this error:
