We are excited to share with you our new locations! In the heart of Phnom Penh Bliss Spa which is located on st 240 has the most amazing Himalayan salt room that I now will be working out of. On top of this my house is now across the river in Areysaat located inside the scenic Maya gardens.
By appointment only I can accommodate you in either location both having their own unique healing aspects. Please book one day in advance. And of course those who prefer my team to meet at their office or home that aspect of Mind Dojo’s service is still available.

What exactly is heart rate variability and why is it important? 🤔 Great question!
Heart rate is simply the number of times your heart beats per minute while heart rate variability (HRV) is the difference between your heart rate at its fastest and its slowest.
HRV is important because it measures how your body handles stress. People with higher HRV tend to live longer and generally have stronger cardiovascular health, willpower, and positive emotion. And those with lower HRV tend to experience greater inflammation, chronic stress, depression, and cancer.
So we know we want a higher HRV, but how do we do that? One simple way is through meditation. When we meditate, we slow down our breathing. This activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest) which can raise your HRV. 💙
In fact, a recent study by the Dept. of Social Neuroscience in Germany revealed that contemplative practices like meditation can boost HRV over a period of a few months through biofeedback.

Focused attention meditation (FAM) is exactly what it sounds like: a meditation practice that helps boost our ability to concentrate through focusing on one point or thing (i.e., our breath). 🎯
While there's no shortage of studies that show higher cognitive performance in experienced meditators (versus non-meditators), a direct link hadn't yet been made between practicing FAM and having greater concentration abilities.
A 2020 study revealed that those practicing FAM for just 8 weeks showed a significantly higher ability to concentrate than those who did not. The FAM participants also showed a shorter reaction time to a stimulus (think: being able to react faster when playing sports or getting out of the way of a moving car) 💡
Muse teaches FAM to help you hone your attention while avoiding internal distractions (i.e., thought) as well as external ones (i.e., sounds). Through real-time feedback, learn to let go of distraction and feel greater calm, clarity, and ease. 😇
