Sopanha Centre for Education

The Four Pillars of Education in Cambodia are based on UNESCO’s concept and are used to guide holistic learning and development. They are:

1. Learning to Know – Gaining knowledge and learning how to learn. It focuses on developing thinking skills, curiosity, and understanding of the world.

2. Learning to Do – Applying knowledge in real-life situations. This includes practical skills for work, problem-solving, and teamwork.

3. Learning to Be – Developing personal values, self-awareness, and responsibility. It supports emotional and moral development.

4. Learning to Live Together – Building social skills, respect, and peace. It encourages understanding, cooperation, and harmony in diverse societies.

These pillars help shape well-rounded learners for the future of Cambodia.🇰🇭

It has been an inspiring and enriching journey that has significantly enhanced my leadership capacity as the Head of Khmer Subject at Anuwat Primary School, Cambodia.
