OrbRom Learning Support Center was pleased to receive a Partnership Recognition Award from Vision Bridge International Academy in recognition of our collaboration and shared commitment to inclusive education.

This recognition follows the signing of our Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which established a partnership focused on strengthening inclusive practices, fostering collaboration between educators and specialists, and providing meaningful support for children and their families.

At OrbRom, we believe that strong partnerships with schools are essential to creating learning environments where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Vision Bridge International Academy and working together to make inclusive education more accessible for all students.

Every great teacher leaves a lasting impact, not just through what they teach, but through how they make children feel.

At OrbRom Learning Support Center, our Lead Teacher, Kate, brings an incredible level of enthusiasm and compassion into every classroom. From animated storytelling and interactive activities to encouraging every child to participate, she creates an environment where learning is exciting, meaningful, and fun.

Kate understands that every child learns differently. She takes the time to build relationships, understand each student's strengths and challenges, and adapt her teaching to help every child succeed. Her patience, creativity, and genuine care allow children to grow in confidence while developing important academic, communication, and social skills.

For many children, learning can be challenging. But with the right teacher, it becomes an adventure.

We are incredibly proud to have Kate leading our educational team and inspiring both our students and fellow teachers every single day. 🌸 Today, I would like to recognize Maralido Ing for successfully completing a one-month internship at OrbRom Learning Support Center.

Lido is a Grade 11 student from Northbridge International School Cambodia who spent the past month learning alongside our multidisciplinary team. This opportunity was made possible through Alejandra Arreaga Urizar, Northbridge's Inclusion & Student Support Leader, who encouraged him to gain firsthand experience in the field of special education and early intervention.

From his very first day, Lido impressed us with his curiosity, initiative, and willingness to help. Whether supporting classroom activities, observing therapy sessions, preparing learning materials, or assisting with daily tasks, he approached every opportunity with enthusiasm and professionalism. He wasn't afraid to ask questions, take on new challenges, or step outside his comfort zone.

What stood out most to me was not only his intelligence and persistence, but also his kindness. Working with children requires patience, empathy, and genuine care, qualities that cannot be taught in a classroom. Throughout his internship, Lido consistently demonstrated these qualities, showing a sincere desire to understand how we support children with diverse learning needs and how he could contribute to our team.

I would also like to thank 🌸 Alejandra Arreaga Urizar and Northbridge International School Cambodia for supporting experiential learning opportunities like this. Giving students meaningful exposure to professional environments helps them explore future careers while developing confidence, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the impact they can have on others.

Lido, thank you for your hard work, positive attitude, and dedication over the past month. It was a pleasure to have you as part of the OrbRom family, and I am confident that your character and work ethic will take you far. Our Speech Therapist, Angel, uses engaging, age-appropriate activities to help teenagers develop stronger communication, language, and social skills. By incorporating games, conversation, problem-solving, and interactive tasks, sessions remain motivating while targeting each student's individual goals.

🗣️ Every child deserves a way to communicate.
At OrbRom Center, we use evidence-based Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools to help children express their thoughts, needs, and feelings, even before they develop spoken language.

AAC is not about replacing speech. It is about giving children a voice while supporting the development of communication, language, social interaction, and independence.

In this session, our therapist is helping a young learner use an AAC application alongside hands-on learning materials. Combining technology with play creates meaningful opportunities for children to communicate, make choices, and actively participate in learning.

Communication is a fundamental human right, and every successful interaction is another step toward greater confidence and independence.

We were honored to welcome our great friends from Maxicare Children Hospital to OrbRom Learning Support Center.
It was a pleasure to host Mr. Rumaney Born, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MaxiCare Children Hospital, together with Mr. Von Him, for a productive discussion on how we can continue providing high-quality services for children and families in Phnom Penh.
Our conversation focused on strengthening collaboration and exploring opportunities to expand access to multidisciplinary support for children who need it most.

Learning through movement, light, and play!
At OrbRom Learning Support Center, our sensory room provides children with opportunities to explore calming visual effects while engaging in movement activities such as jumping and active play. Combining sensory light experiences with movement helps support sensory regulation, body awareness, balance, coordination, attention, and emotional well-being.

Through these fun and meaningful experiences, children can build confidence, develop important sensory processing skills, and enjoy a safe space designed to meet their individual needs. 💙
