🌱 On 21 June 2026, we facilitated a Youth Engagement session at the PTC, Boeung Trabek Community, on “Promoting Home Gardening in a Slum Community.”
A total of 16 youth participants joined the session to learn how small urban spaces can be transformed into productive home gardens.
Participants explored practical skills such as using recycled containers, soil preparation, planting seedlings, watering, and daily plant care. Beyond skills, they also gained awareness of food security, sustainability, and responsibility.
This activity showed that even limited spaces can produce fresh vegetables when creativity and knowledge are applied. It empowered youth to believe in self-reliance and healthy living through urban gardening.

Have you ever thought that you need a large piece of land to grow vegetables?
Think again! 🌿
We are excited to launch a small urban gardening project in the Boeung Trabek Slum Community, Phnom Penh, with the goal of empowering youth and families to grow fresh vegetables using container and vertical gardening techniques. Even the smallest space can become a productive garden!
💚 Our Mission
We believe every young person can become a changemaker. Through this project, we aim to equip youth with practical gardening skills, promote food security, encourage environmental sustainability, and inspire communities to transform small spaces into green spaces.
👥 We are looking for passionate volunteers!
