We teach English to around 130 students each day and pray that each of them will come not just to learn English but also to hear the truths taught in the Bible. We came to Cambodia wanting to help reach those trapped in the cycle of poverty. However, we soon discovered that was very difficult without knowing the Khmer language. We prayed for months for God's direction and for understanding. Soon w

e discovered a few children that desire to learn English. Knowing how corrupt the Education system is in Cambodia we saw this as an opening to build relationships in our village. After two years we are now welcoming more than 100 students each day into our home to teach them English (the only thing we can teach.) We know however that God did not bring us to Cambodia to just teach English but that His purposes are way higher than that. We are slowly building up a Sunday School and Youth Bible study and desire to teach these lost souls about the hope and joy they can have in a relationship with a God who loves them and is the only one that is worthy of their worship. We pray daily that these students will find a wonderful love for God and know that despite their living conditions God is all they need and is calling them into an Eternal relationship with Himself. This is not our work, it all belongs to God we pray that we will serve Him humbly as long as He keeps us here.
