The medical faculty of the university (International School of Medicine), operating since 2003, has accumulated significant experience in the development of medical education and science, based on the traditions of academic medicine of the Soviet school and new technologies of teaching and research. Currently, the International School of Medicine occupies the Eastern Medical Campus of the Academic Consortium “International University of Kyrgyzstan”, being its structural subdivision. The priority of the school is to create a professional innovative environment conducive to the maximum involvement of employees and students in the learning process and scientific activities. On the basis of the International School of Medicine, a program for the training of medical personnel “General medicine” is being implemented, scientific work is being carried out in a wide range of areas of medicine. The faculty operates in accordance with a license issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, where students from more than twelve countries study, in addition to students from Kyrgyzstan. The current training program is developed in accordance with the standards of medical education adopted in the countries of Europe and the British Commonwealth.
