On April 27 at School #100 in Ruhii-Muras and April 28 at School #40 in Archa-Beshik, Bishkek our Access students met Phoenix Chellew, a native English speaker who shared insights about life and education in the United States.

In April 2026, two sessions in Bishkekโfacilitated by Fulbright Program participants Cynthia Wagner and Raven Millerโbrought together intermediate to advanced learners to explore the U.S. education system and the culture of Tennessee.

From April 13โ16, 2026, Jeffrey Bunting, Cultural Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, visited English for Young Professionals (EYP) program sites in Batken, Osh, Uzgen, and Manas to monitor classes and engage with students.

During the visits, participants practiced English through discussions on American values such as independence and individualism, cultural exchanges, presentations on local history, and interactive conversations that strengthened their confidence and communication skills.
