Chui branch trainers conducted teacher training in Moskva region. Teachers learned about Forum activities, opportunities for teachers as well as were actively involved in the training.

We are so happy to start a new project in cooperation with Salymbekov Foundation of progressive initiatives! 40 teachers of Bishkek and Chui oblast will be involved in the course of effective methodologies of teaching English!

Short info about this session:
In any classroom, it is necessary for the teacher to build some form of culture so that students understand what is expected of them and to make them feel as though they are invested in their education. In this session, we will explore 5 key principles used in creating a strong classroom culture, as well as 10 techniques that can be utilized throughout each lesson.

Short description: The session is designed to illustrate the importance of bringing together the cognitive and the emotional aspects at English classes. Additionally, it focuses on developing all four language skills in a relaxing, safe and supportive atmosphere. The first part of the session will cover some theoretical aspects and the second part will have a more engaging character.

On December 9, 2017 Talas American Corner “America Ordosu” held the competition entitled “Talas American Song Contest” among Secondary School Teachers with Talas Forum FLT Association. 10 finalists competed performing American Songs. They were representing own regional schools from Talas, Bakai Ata, Manas and Kara Buura regions. The “Grand Final Winner” was awarded to very talented lady Bazarbaeva Eliza who sang “Yesterday” by Beatles. The 1st place, got a beautiful lady with “Just one last dance” song by Sarah Connor Baetova Janar. The 2nd place was awarded to great duo Aidarbekova Nargiza and Uyalashova Janyl. The 3rd place was awarded to gorgeous trio Jusupbekova Gulshayir, Amanova Ainura and Chekirova Anara. It was pleasant to see how teachers are creative and gifted, besides teaching, educating kids and supervising them, now they are talented singers with nice voices.

Thanks so much to participants who came to Saturday Sessions today. It's been extremely productive time to talk about future plans and activities for Bishkek city and Chui oblast. Special thanks to Cristina Schoonmaker, Gulnara Akunova, Elvira Kushbekova, Aigul Elebaeva, Atyrgul Berdikeeva, Eric R. Herst, Gulzat Konokbaeva who came to support the session.
