The Eurasian International Medical University received independent accreditation of educational activities for a period of 5 years based on the results of the examination of the independent Agency for the Accreditation of Educational Organizations and Programs "Zapattuu Bilim"
The purpose of this accreditation is to assess and recognize the high quality of the university's activities and the educational program being implemented in accordance with state standards for the quality of education in the direction of "Medicine", which will contribute to the development of the export of medical education. In addition, it is important for students who plan to work or continue their studies abroad, since an application has already been submitted for obtaining ECFMG certification and for passing international accreditation in September 2021 by the Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating of the IAAR.
Initially, we prepared a large internal self-report on the assessment of the university, describing the activities of the university in accordance with nine educational standards and provided supporting documents, then the report was considered by a commission of external experts. After the report was accepted, a face-to-face assessment was carried out by the expert committee.
The visit of the expert commission took place at the university from May 27-28, 2021, during which experts conducted interviews with the rector and vice-rectors of the university, the administration of the Avicenna Medical university clinic, the dean and heads of departments, heads of departments, students and their parents.
Interviews were held with representatives of the teaching staff and participation in the lessons, according to the schedule. The experts also examined the buildings of the university, namely: educational classes and lecture halls, a laboratory center, a morpho-physiological building. Vivarium and Museum of Plastination. A separate examination of the Avicenna Medical University Clinic was carried out.
The expert commission highly appreciated the quality of educational programs, the qualifications of the teaching staff, the infrastructure of the university, as evidenced by the final assessment of self-report standards with a percentage of 98.86%.
Thus, on the recommendation of a commission of experts, a defense was carried out at the Accreditation Council of the country and a high assessment was obtained and the right to accreditation for 5 years.
