The Bishkek International Medical Institute (BIMI) was founded in 2019.BIMI offers the opportunity to study in one of the modern educational medical centers in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia. All lectures and practical classes will be conducted in English and Russian languages. Training in the specialty "Medicine" is conducted by the specialist programs and lasts 5 years. In order to independently manage patients, it is necessary to pass the following stages of training: residency, internship or postgraduate study. Medicine is the basic medical education, after which you can get a narrower specialization: surgeon, therapist, cardiologist, pediatrician, etc.

It is a time to reflect on the past year and set new goals for the upcoming year. Nowruz is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy, bringing people together in unity and togetherness.

Bishkek International Medical Institute (BIMI) is a multicultural academic institution in Kyrgyzstan that welcomes students from all over the world. As such, BIMI recognizes and celebrates the diversity of its student body by hosting various cultural events throughout the year. One such event is the Nowruz celebration, which is a significant cultural festival in Kyrgyzstan.

Nowruz, which is celebrated on March 21st, marks the beginning of spring and the new year in the Persian calendar. To honor this occasion, BIMI organizes a Kyrgyz cultural party, where students and staff members come together to celebrate the festive occasion.

The party includes a variety of activities and performances, such as traditional Kyrgyz music, dance performances, and food. The students and staff members dress up in traditional Kyrgyz attire, with many wearing the iconic kalpak and chapan.

One of the highlights of the celebration is the setting up of a traditional "haft seen" table, which includes seven symbolic items beginning with the Persian letter "sin." These items include sabzeh (wheat or lentil sprouts), samanu (sweet pudding), senjed (dried fruit), sir (garlic), sib (apples), somaq (sumac), and serkeh (vinegar).

The Nowruz celebration at BIMI is an excellent opportunity for students and staff members to come together and learn about Kyrgyz culture. The festive occasion fosters a sense of community and unity among the diverse student body at BIMI.

In conclusion, BIMI's Nowruz celebration is an excellent example of how cultural diversity is celebrated and embraced in academic institutions. By organizing such events, BIMI promotes cultural awareness and appreciation among its students and staff members.
