In order to popularize sports among our students, from September 5 to 14 this year, 3rd year students Salymbekov University Komal Zulfiqar and Arshad Syeda Farwa took part in the West Asian Chess Championship among juniors under 20, held by the Kyrgyz Chess Union in Issyk-Kul under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation.

Boys and girls from 7 countries participated in the championship: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, India, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.

On September 14-15, 2022, for the first time in Kyrgyzstan, the World Forum of Rectors was held with the participation of representatives of the educational sector from more than 60 countries, as well as rectors of universities in Kyrgyzstan. This forum was attended by our University President Amangeldi Zhumadilov and Vice-Rector for External Relations and Development Avaz Kazakov.
