Chekombero Special School is a special school for learners with hearing impaired (Deaf).
It is located in Vihiga County, Sabatia Constituency.
It has a conductive environment for learning for learners.
The school boast of experience teaching force who are committed to moulding learners into self reliant individual to fit into legal society. We impart our learners relevant knowledge and skills in various forms.

She was a jovial and good pupil in our school.
We believe that no human live without mistakes.
We have our errors.
It was not good to kill her.

She lived alone with her son. A single mother.
The man claiming to have killed her, she never confessed he is her husband.

She was born and raised in Sabatia Sub-county, Vihiga County, Western Kenya.
She schooled her primary education at Chekombero Special School in Sabatia Sub-county.
After school, she lived and worked in Nakuru County.

A girl full of life, a young mother to one son, the child is left behind. She worked extra hard for her son's education and upbringing.

Our hearts goes to her bereaved son.

HELLO FRIENDS. This is the Sad News that we read about the passing on of one of our Deaf friend named Hellen Mideyo. It is said that she was killed by her alleged husband. She once confessed to one of our team that she is not married yet, only for the news to break that she is killed today! We call for the Justice to be done for her death. 😥😥😭😭😭 #JusticeForHellen

Hellen Mideyo was a pupil at our school, Chekombero Special School for the Deaf . She sat for KCPE in the year 2015.
She was a jovial girl.
We will forever miss her.
