On 25th November which was International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, we partnered with the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action and other CSOs to launch 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, with this year's theme being; "Towards Beijing+30: UNITE to end Violence Against Women and Girls."

The theme resonates with the upcoming 30th anniversary of the Beijing declaration on insightful and pioneer landmark framework that desired to see the advancement of gender equality and women's rights which was adopted in 1995. Just like then, this declaration emphasizes global solidarity and integrated action to end violence against women and girls.

We hope for a brighter future free from violence. Let's stand together, amplify voices, and drive action to end GBV.

As we celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child, we stand at the intersection of hope and potential. Girls around the world are envisioning futures filled with equality, empowerment and opportunity.

They dream of societies where their voices are heard, their dreams are nurtured and where barriers to education, health and safety are dismantled. We picture a world where girls are celebrated for their ambition and are encouraged to pursue careers in science, technology, arts and leadership without facing discrimination or bias. This future is achievable if we foster environments that encourage exploration and creativity.
As we celebrate the girl today, let's commit to being allies in this journey.
