This morning we had a wonderful time reading the book Crows Tale . The children asked about Snow and we showed them that yes we have snow on top of Mount Kenya . We clarified that the white stuff is not clouds . Reading not only diversifies your vocabulary but it introduces new things . We also got a quote or two …” Dear Crow ‘… said the Sun ..” you are selfless and brave . It’s not always about how you look, but how you behave that matters . “ eish have a lovely day .

We model the reading aloud and then we watch Magic happen . There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a community transformed by the love ❤️ of reading . It has to be fun , creative and engaging. These sessions every month are making a change and not just parents and their kids but when teachers get involved … ❤️❤️❤️

Today we were up and about giving , Pencils , biros , sharpeners , rubbers and sweets to our over 60 children library users who open school tommorrow. The smiles . There is just something beautiful about the 10 bobs that are given toward buying stationery and easing the minds of these kids and their parents . Asante
