The Kenya National Chess Youth Cadets Championships ended yesterday. What a journey! Beside the exciting experiences, Five of our players qualified for African Championships to be held in Kampala, Uganda 🇺🇬 🇺🇬 🇺🇬 in May. Thank you team for the support

Mang'u once again for The love of Chess

🎉 Massive congratulations to our outstanding KJSEA Candidate of 2025! 🌟 You've conquered the exams with brilliance and determination—paving the way for a bright future. We're so proud of you!

Today marks the final day of Tr. Jane Mamake Marugu journey here on earth. Today, she will not be travelling to any more traumatizing or painful treatments. No — she is resting at last.

She will not be there to greet her Grade Two pupils in January, but the values, love, and lessons she instilled in them will remain forever. Her beloved son will be joining Grade One in January, carrying with him the strength and wisdom she nurtured.

She will be buried at her home, next to Sabugo Primary School — a place close to her heart and forever connected to her life’s work.

Fare thee well, Teacher. May your soul rest in eternal peace. 💐

What an unforgettable weekend for CHEMA Mixed Academy at the Tae Kwon Do WTF tournament in Meru! Out of the 13 medals Nyandarua county brought home, 5 went to our outstanding Chema learners! 🥇🥈🥉

Chess Champions at Nakuru Regionals! ♟️🏆

What a thrilling and hard-fought battle at the Nakuru Regional Chess Qualifiers held at Radiance Academy! Our team gave it their all and we are proud to announce we brought home a total of 8 trophies!

Special congratulations to Hannington Kiprotich for emerging as the Best in the Under 6 Open Category, and to Abigael Njoki Morris for securing Second Place in the Under 6 Girls Category. Your dedication and skill inspire us all!

We’re now setting our sights on the Nationals in August. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey—let’s keep the momentum going!

Our Scrabble Journey at Utumishi High School, Gilgil 🏆

What an incredible experience it’s been competing in Scrabble at Utumishi High School in Gilgil! We challenged ourselves, learned so much, and made amazing memories along the way. Though we didn’t take the top spot this time, our spirits remain high and our determination is even stronger.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on and believed in us. We’re coming back next year, ready to play our best game yet! 💪🔠

Our Music Festival Journey 🎶

From our first note at the Subcounty level to representing at the regionals in Mang'u High School, this journey has been unforgettable! We are grateful for every lesson, every cheer, and every challenge that pushed us to grow together as a team.

Though this year’s chapter closes, our passion and determination are stronger than ever. Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way. We can’t wait to come back even better next year! 💪✨

Beyond Chess - Creating Well-Rounded Experiences!
Chess isn't our only focus - we believe in developing all aspects of our learners' lives!
During our travels, we enjoyed a wonderful visit to The Palm Place Hotel in Thika where our young champions had swimming lessons - many experiencing a pool for the first time! The joy and laughter as they learned this important life skill was priceless. 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️
We also took an educational field trip to Gakoe Tea Estate and Factory, giving our learners first-hand experience of Kenya's important tea industry. From seeing the lush green tea fields to witnessing the fascinating processing methods, it was learning come alive! 🍃🌱
These diverse experiences help build confidence, knowledge, and create memories that last a lifetime!
