It was a beautiful day of discovery as learners practiced water safety skills, built coordination, and enjoyed a refreshing experience that supports both physical development and mental wellbeing.

On this special day, we celebrate one of the greatest milestones in Kenya’s history — the moment our nation became a fully independent republic. After gaining internal self-rule on 1st June 1963, Kenya took the final step on 12th December 1964, officially becoming a republic and standing proudly among independent nations of the world.
It was a day of hope, courage, and unity — a day that still inspires us 61 years later.
