Good morning colleagues. The grade 10 request for transfer begins today and lasts for one week. The request is to be made by the HOI of the Junior School where the learner did his/her KJSEA. Be guided as follows:-
1. Go to https://placement.education.go.ke on your browser
2. Login using your credentials (the one you used during selection of pathways/schools for grade 9)
3. Click on the icon for tranfers
4. A list of all your learners who sat the kjsea will be availed. Click on the box before the name of the learner who is to be transfered.
5. Click on next and select the pathway and subject combinations prefered by the learner(this can be different from what he/she chose earlier)
6. A list of schools offering the selected pathway and subject combinations with vacancies will come up. Select the prefered school( learners can select a maximum of 4 schools)
7. Click next and follow the prompts upto the end and submit after ensuring all the information given is correct.
8. Wait for approval by the concerned depending on the category of schools chosen.(C1-MOE, C2-RDE, C3-CDE, C4-SCDE)
NB. Kindly note that it is the personal responsibility of individual junior school HOI to account for the transition of all their 2025 grade 9 learners and ensure that requests for transfers by learners from their institutions are uploaded and resolved within the given window period.
