Naromoru Girls Secondary School

Naromoru Girls Secondary School Motto.The wise shall inherit glory.Vision The number one school in academic performance and the best choice for the girl child. The school started in 1967.

The school is in kieni east district nyeri county. It Lay on a 11 acre piece of land which was initially owned by a white man known as Mr Cool. Upon leaving the country the land was allotted to the PCEA who reserved it for the school. The house of the white man constituted to what was the whole school for Many years. The name naromoru is a maasai word meaning a river with small smooth stones. It originated from the maasai community who pastured over the whole area before colonialism.
