On Friday last week, the Mwangaza College Nakuru comnunity joined the global Lasallian family in celebrating 2026 founders day in honor of St. John Baptist De La Salle with the highlight being a beautiful holy mass officiated by Fr. Dennis Wanyonyi.

St. John Baptist de La Salle is a saint of the Catholic Church, the Patron saint for teachers of youth and the founder of the institute of the brothers of Christian schools also referred to as the De La Salle brothers who are the managers of Mwangaza College and other institutions in Kenya and over 1000 other educational institutions in 81 countries all over the world.

Today, he continues to inspire how to teach and care for the youth, how to meet failure and frailty with compassion, how to affirm, strengthen and heal and we are proud to be part of his legacy.

St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us.
