TRADESMEN/WOMEN INTO THE
KENYA DEFENCE FORCES.
1.The Kenya Defence Forces is pleased to
announce to the general public that there
will be a recruitment of Servicemen/
women, Constabularies & Tradesmen/
women soon. Prospective candidates
wishing to join Kenya Defence Forces
must satisfy the conditions and
requirements given below.
2.CORRUPTION. Bribery and other acts of
corruption are against the law. All
persons presenting themselves for
recruitment purposes with fake/falsified
documents or caught engaging in any
corrupt activity shall be arrested and
prosecuted. If you accept to be conned,
you will lose your money or property and
go to jail; it has happened to many
citizens during last recruitments. Do not
waste your money and risk imprisonment;
NO ONE can influence the recruitment
process. Report any suspicious conmen to
the nearest police station or a military
camp. KDF recruitment is absolutely FREE
TO ALL.
3.Citizens are further notified that
recruitment is ONLY
conducted at the advertised recruitment
centres countrywide during daytime before
1800 hrs (6pm) on weekdays only.
Successful candidates will be issued with
genuine calling letters at the recruitment
centres by the recruitment officers. Any
person purporting to recruit or issue an
alleged calling letter away from a
recruitment centre is likely to be conman.

consisting of the Kenya Army, Kenya
Air Force, Kenya Navy and the
Defence Forces Constabulary will be
visiting the recruiting centres as
indicated below to recruit
Servicemen/women and Defence
Forces Constabularies on dates
indicated.
b. All potential candidates reporting
to the recruitment centres should
come from the sub counties/
divisions of their respective counties
& districts. They should also bring
with them current original national
identity card and academic
certificates/testimonials. ID
photocopies/scanned and police
abstracts will not be accepted. The
recruitment exercise will be
absolutely FREE.
5. Conditions
a. Servicemen/Women
1. Must be Kenyan citizens.
2. Age: Between 18 and 26 years old.
3. Be physically and medically fit in
accordance with the KDF standards.
4. Have no criminal record.
5. Minimum Height: 5 ft 3 in. (5’3”).
6. Minimum Weight:
(a) Men: 54.55 Kg (120 lb).
(b) Women: 50.00 Kg (110 lb).
7. Female candidates must NOT be
pregnant at recruitment and during
training.
8. Education: A minimum of mean grade
D (plain) in KCSE for the general
recruits.
b. Constabularies
1. Must be Kenyan citizens and should
not have dual citizenship.
2. Age – Below 52 years old.
3. Be physically and medically fit in
accordance with the KDF standards.
4. Have no criminal record.
5. Be ex-Defence Forces Service
members (Kenya Army, Kenya Air
Force Kenya Navy).
6. Possess a Discharge Certificate of
minimum “Very Good” in conduct.
7. Must have served at least a 3 or 9
years’ colour service.

6. Tradesmen/Women
a.Prospective candidates wishing to apply
must satisfy the conditions and
requirements given below.
1. Must be Kenyan citizens.
2. Age: Between 18 and 26 years old.
3. Be physically and medically fit in

The youth, you decide to be what you want to be. It's not any body's mistake if you fail in life. Do not be blinded by your current abilities and beauty but rather use your current efforts to built a foundation for your future. Do not love ladies and spent your energy on them if you are a man but rather marry,.... To you ladies, never accept premature love actions but be strong so that you may live long. I speak from a far, I talk with respect and advice with knowledge since my wisdom fears to see my beloved ones deteriorating in life due to failure to see tomorrow. Nothing will remain undone but everything in its own time. Do what is expected of you at the appropriate and appointed time. Not all that glitters is gold. As the president addresses the nation yesterday', there was applause and happiness over the acheivements that have been realized so far.according to the report Kenyans economy has developed and generally living had improved! I wonder if we people ordinary us here in kiptororo we feel these things.According to the ministry of energy the electricity supply is mandatory to reach all the public schools other thank connecting to households consumers at the lower rate of 15k, pathetic roads have become part of our life here.......... is this a real economy part of us realy or am import foreign to kiptororo? Is our Mp responsible for this? have your say!
