Yesterday, we hosted the third annual Lipala Performing Arts Festival, and to say that it was a success would be a major understatement. Firstly, I as Cassandra Magero, would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing committee and sub committee that worked above and beyond my expectations, losing hope sometimes but we managed to pull through, and I'm very proud of all of us. This however, would not have succeeded if it wasn't for the Greensteds family, who took time off their Saturday to help with all the preparations for the schools, marshalling, line ups, and definitely the amazing performances thoroughly practised over the course of the upcoming weeks. Major thanks to Red Forth Chorus, who were our celebrity performance, Braeburn Gitanga Road, Braeburn Imani, Naisula and Moi Girls Eldoret who made it absolutely memorable for all the attending guests.
Last, but definitely not least, immense thanks to Mr. Watatwa, Mr. Agina and Mrs. Maina, among others, who were our staff leaders; the people who gave us hope when we lost it, and tried their hardest to push for the implementation of our ideas, even when it seemed impossible.
