The overarching goal for Silicon Rift is to be a catalytic enabler, coordinator and convenor of digital investors, entrepreneurs and talent into Nakuru, attracting direct foreign investments, creating a thriving digital ecosystem and contributing 100,000 meaningful digital jobs in Nakuru County by 2025.

In today's Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), youth employment is a critical concern. The UN predicts that the 15–24 year old age group in Africa will increase by almost six million people annually over the next ten years, with a median age of only 24 predicted by 2050.
The adoption of digital skills and the development of young people's potential could revolutionize the digital economic development in the Rift Valley region and throughout Africa.
