inABLE is looking for a ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ด๐ป ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ to support clear, inclusive communication for Deaf and Hard of Hearing youth, partners, and staff.
The role involves real-time interpretation during meetings, workshops, program activities, and public events, along with support for major gatherings such as the Inclusive Africa Conference. It also contributes to accessible content and a sign-inclusive work environment.
๐ Responsibilities & Requirements:
โ Provide real-time interpretation in KSL/English/Swahili during meetings, workshops, and events
โ Support accessibility at major gatherings including the Inclusive Africa Conference
โ Contribute to the creation of accessible content and materials
โ Promote a sign-inclusive and Deaf-friendly work environment
โ Hold formal training and certification in KSL interpretation
โ Demonstrate strong understanding of Deaf culture and professional ethics

TAX EXEMPTION VETTING DATES AND VENUES IN VARIOUS COUNTIES.
The Council, in collaboration with the Kenya Revenue Authority and the Ministry of Health, will conduct tax exemption vetting exercises in the following counties on the dates and venues listed below, commencing on 11th Nov 2025.
In line with the Government's digitization efforts and inter-agency linkages, kindly note that applicants will need to have submitted their applications through eCitizen before appearing for physical vetting
