Wah! Rafiki yangu, hebu nikuambie kitu – mafanikio sio kuamka siku moja na ghafla kuwa Elon Musk. Haiya! K**a ingekuwa rahisi hivyo, mimi tayari ningekuwa Mars nikiuza mahindi ya kuchoma kwa wageni wa angani. 😅

Wacha niweke wazi: Siri ya kitu chochote chenye maana – iwe ni biashara, mahusiano, mazoezi (ndiyo, hata hiyo tumbo lako), au kufuata ndoto zako kali – ipo kwenye kitu hiki kimoja cha kuchosha: kujitokeza kila siku.

Ndiyo. Kila. Siku. Moja. Hata ukiwa huna hamu. Hata wakati hali ya hewa inafanya sarakasi. Hata kitanda chako kinapokukumbatia zaidi kuliko ex wako wa zamani. Lazima ujitokeze.

Sikiliza:
Ukijitokeza leo na uboreke kwa asilimia 1 tu, kisha urudie kesho, na siku inayofuata… baada ya mwaka mmoja hutajitambua. Utajiona kwenye kioo na kusema: “Huyu ni nani huyu mtu mzuri, toleo jipya la mimi?” 🔥

Sio lazima ufanye mambo makubwa ya kishindo. Hakuna anayekuuliza kukimbia marathon siku ya kwanza. Hapana. Tunaanzia kidogo. Tunatembea kwa hekima. Push-up moja. Ukurasa mmoja. Simu moja. Video moja ya aibu. Halafu kesho, tunafanya tena – lakini vizuri zaidi.

Hata Yesu hakubadilisha maji kuwa divai siku ya kwanza ya huduma yake. Kulikuwa na mchakato!

Kwa hivyo, rafiki yangu – iwe unataka kujenga biashara, kukuza ujuzi, kupunguza tumbo hilo gumu, au kuwa binadamu bora – usisubiri msukumo. Huo ni k**a foleni ya magari Nairobi – hauna uhakika. 😒

Unachohitaji ni nidhamu na ujasiri wa kuonekana mjinga unapojifunza na kuendelea.

Leo unaweza kuwa mbaya. Lakini kesho, utakuwa mbaya kidogo. Na siku moja – mshangao! – utakuwa gwiji.

Endelea kujitokeza. Endelea kukua.
Na kumbuka: hata Roma haikujengwa kwa siku moja… lakini walikuwa wakiweka matofali kila siku.

One of the lessons I learnt in the recent Launch of one of our Authors at Isahara Book Publishers was the power of resilience and commitment most first borns have. Shared here is a story of how a sister stood firm and struggled to ensure that all her brothers schooled at provincial currently county and extra county school schools and above despite their humble beginning. While Mr Kimutai had featured this story in his book What You Have , getting it from the sister herself was more emotional. She is the epitome of resilience and I just saw the spirit of a superwoman.
