Today, we have started the construction of a simple kitchen at Baraka A ECDE in Deloraine Community. 🏗️

The kitchen will provide a safe and suitable space for preparing porridge for the children. The porridge is provided through the County Government of Nakuru, and this facility will help ensure that it is prepared in a clean and appropriate environment.

The project is financed by Deloraine Farm and is being monitored by the Deloraine Community Child Development Program – CBO, together with the school board headed by the Chairperson, Mr. Milton.

We are also grateful to Reuben, a local fundi from the Deloraine community, who is undertaking the construction work. Supporting local skills and community members is an important part of making our projects sustainable.

We are very thankful to everyone contributing to this initiative. We hope that this small facility will be very useful to the children and the school community.

We also hope that a similar kitchen facility can be constructed at Baraka B ECDE (Upper School) in the future, so that the children there can also benefit from a safe and suitable place for preparing their porridge.

Thank you to Deloraine Farm, the County Government of Nakuru, the school board, the CBO, the local fundi, and everyone supporting the development of our ECDE centres. ❤️

Together, we are creating better learning and care environments for our children. 🌱

Together for Our Children: A Heartfelt Thank You to Londiani Limited ❤️
Today, Deloraine Community Child Development program - CBO is filled with joy as we witnessed the start of the Mandazi and School Cleaning Programme at Deloraine ECDE, generously supported by Londiani Limited, through its directors Cindy and Guy.
The programme is supporting 130 children and 9 members of staff for the entire term, this is 3 ECDEs in deloraine commuity and one at Leldet comprehensive School-Deloraine,Nakuru,Rongai-Kenya". bringnng them to 4, . Today, the children were extremely happy and excited to receive their mandazi. The teachers and cook were also included in the programme, ensuring that the wider school community benefits.
For proper monitoring and accountability, a simple daily monitoring form has been prepared and will remain at the school for recording mandazi supplies and cleaning services. Teachers will confirm the daily supplies and services, while Deloraine Community Child Development Program will monitor the programme and provide regular progress reports.
We are deeply grateful to Cindy and Guy and the entire Londiani Limited family for trusting us and standing with these children.
Sometimes, what may seem like a small act of kindness means so much to a child. The little things we do today bring joy, happiness and hope to these young souls and help build a brighter future. ❤️
We also encourage more friends, well-wishers, partners and organisations to join us and support the children in other areas of need according to their interests and areas of passion. Every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference in a child's life.
