Today we’re shining the spotlight on one of our great teachers – the one who makes the complex worlds of Physics and Chemistry come alive for our students and helps students see the connections behind formulas, forces and reactions. 👨🏾‍🔬⚗️🧪

His motto: "Unlocking the mysteries of the universe, one reaction at a time." To him, every chemical change or physical principle is a key to something greater – a step toward understanding the incredible world we live in. 🌎

Next up in our *Staff Spotlight series* is the person who opens worlds of imagination and knowledge to our students — our incredible librarian! 📚🙌

She makes sure that learning doesn’t stop when the lesson ends, encouraging students to dive into stories, explore new ideas, and grow through reading. 📖

“A step back is a set up for a step up.” She reminds us that setbacks or pauses aren’t failures — they’re often the foundation for our next big move forward. 💪

Thank you for being the heart of our reading community!

*Staff Spotlight series* - Meet one of the brilliant minds behind our science department, who brings passion to both - Maths and Chemistry 🧑‍🔬

"Nurturing young souls to become leaders in society." This guiding principle means more than teaching formulas or facts – it's about empowering students to think independently, grow in character, realize their full potential and step into the world ready to make a difference 🙌💫

Always helpful and never without a smile. Her calm presence helps keep everything running smoothly—even on the busiest days. Who are we talking about?
In today’s edition of our *Staff Spotlight series* we’re shining the light on our wonderful secretary! 🙌

One of her favorite quotes: "Every storm runs out of rain." It’s a reminder that no matter how tough things get, challenges are temporary—and better days always come. ☀️

Stay tuned for more spotlights on the amazing people who make our team so special! 🤩

Today we’re continuing our *Staff Spotlight series* with one of our Maths teachers.

His motto: "Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst." reminds us that while optimism is important, it’s also wise to be prepared for challenges. Especially in Maths 😉 (and life!).

Things don’t always go as planned — but if we stay hopeful and ready to tackle difficulties, we’re set for success.

Next up in our *Staff Spotlight series*: Our wonderful Geography and CRE teacher - full of warmth and unstoppable energy.
Her motto? "Soaring high like an eagle." 🦅 A beautiful reminder to rise above challenges, stay focused and keep aiming higher.

And - if you can’t find her on earth, don’t panic. Just look up, she might already be flying above us. 😉💫

While we’re enjoying the holiday break, we’re taking the opportunity to continue our *Staff Spotlights series* 🥳🎉🎉

Today, we’re starting with our ICT champion. Always smiling and full of positive energy he says: "Energy cannot be lost, only transformed." 🙌

So remember: Even when you feel drained, your energy isn’t gone — it’s shifting, evolving, becoming something new. Trust the process. ✨

✨ Closing Ceremony at P.W.A. High School ✨
We wrapped up the current term with a special Closing Ceremony. It was an event filled with motivating speeches, recognition and celebration of our achievements. 🎉 With awards and honors we celebrated the outstanding students who excelled throughout this term. 🌟

We hope all our students have arrived home safely and are now ready to use the holidays to rest, recharge, and even refresh and reinforce some of their learning. 📚

We’re looking forward to the next term, excited for all the new successes and moments we’ll experience together! 💪
