To Kenyan 'youth':

When Kenyan constitutions define 'youth' as anyone between the age of 18 and 35, people in their twenties and thirties are happy: after all, they are young. They don't ask why is UN defining 'youth' as anyone between 15 and 24 years of age - in spite of the fact that the developed world has longer life expectancy. What Kenyans don't understand is that that definition is political! It is meant to be used to discourage those between 18 and 35 taking up responsibility in the academia, in the corporate institutions, and above all, in politics! AFTER ALL YOU ARE YOUNG. Wait for your turn!
