In a visit to Kenya in 2012, Mr. Green Trading Founders, came to Kenya to explore
possibilities in the Waste Management Sector. They then launched Mr. Green Trading Africa
in September of 2014. Green’s strategy from the outset was to adopt an inside-out approach; starting by learning how local waste value chains function, and then scaling simple solutions to improve the sector creating a lasting competitive advantage.

We are excited to share that Mr Green Africa is now triple ISO certified — and what that really means is consistency you can rely on.

✅ ISO 9001 — Quality Management
✅ ISO 14001 — Environmental Management
✅ ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety

These certifications are more than badges on a wall. They are a reflection of the standards our team holds itself to every single day — from the collectors who bring in plastic waste, to the workers on our factory floor, to the customers and partners who trust us with their supply chain.

This is a statement for world-class standards. That sustainability and quality are not trade-offs. That protecting our people and our planet is simply how we do business.

Thank you to our entire team, our partners, and our community. This one is for all of you. 🙌

Every day is recycling day at Mr. Green. ♻️
Behind every piece of plastic that gets collected, sorted, and given new life, there's a person who made it happen. A wastepicker. A driver. A household that separated their waste. A business that chose to do things differently.
Real impact doesn't come from a single campaign. It comes from people, showing up every day, building the systems that close the loop.
This World Recycling Day, we see you. We celebrate you. You are the solution to plastic pollution.
